Vibee is an interactive audio player that tells stories, sings songs, and teaches in a fun way – completely without screens* and ads.

Designed for children aged 2–12, inspired by Montessori principles to foster imagination, independence, and the joy of learning.

How does Vibee work?

A child simply places a card or figurine on the VibeeBox, and their favorite story, song, or quiz starts instantly. Everything works without a screen, so children focus solely on listening and using their imagination. The controls are simple, physical, and easy enough for even the youngest kids – giving parents peace of mind that their children are enjoying safe content without ads or distracting apps.

*Our small display is for informational purposes only, showing the image of the current song or story. For the youngest children, it can be permanently turned off.

For those who perceive differently

At Vibee, we also think of children with visual impairments. We are working on special cards with Braille so that visually impaired children can also use our player. We want the world of stories to be accessible to everyone.

Our story

It all began in a small workshop in Slovakia, where, as parents, we were looking for a way to offer our children the highest-quality experiences without screens. We wanted to create something that would be not only fun but also enriching.

The first step was a homemade prototype built from a Raspberry Pi, an NFC reader, and a cardboard case. After just the first few play sessions, we knew it had potential, so we introduced the concept to our families and friends.

After some research and feedback from both children and parents, we refined the shape, controls, and safety, and came up with the idea for Vibee – a magical player that combines traditional toys with modern technology. Our goal was clear: to create a product that entertains children while also developing their imagination and creativity.
Today, we are finalizing production prototypes in cooperation with a trusted hardware partner, preparing for mass production, and actively reaching out to performers, content creators, and other partners to expand the Vibee library.

We are also awaiting approval for several grants that would support the development of the device and the content library, so that every child can have access to high-quality content that both entertains and educates.
